German Chancellor Angela Merkel recently announced that Germany will close the last three nuclear power plants before 2022, and said that all coal power plants will be closed before 2038 and natural gas will be abandoned before 2050.

With the increasing energy crisis, Germany's renewable energy power generation accounts for nearly 50% of the total power generation, and photovoltaic energy accounts for 9.7%. It is one of the countries that is expected to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality and carbon peak fastest.

Germany has 0.9GW of photovoltaic installations in 2020, and the total installed capacity have reached 4.8GW, ranking 1st in Europe in terms of photovoltaic installations. Germany has cancelled the 52GW online agreement and has set a new goal of 98GW by 2030. With the rapid rise of photovoltaic power generation systems based on the power purchase agreement PPA, the future development momentum of the German photovoltaic market will continue to be strong.
